The Board of Directors of Íslandsbanki intends to convene a shareholders’ meeting, where the Board of Directors and management will discuss the Bank’s execution of the ISFI’s offering of the Icelandic State’s 22.5% stake in the share capital of the Bank that took place on 22 March 2022. The decision is made following the ISFI’s announcement where such a meeting was requested.
The Bank and its management regret the non-compliance covered in the settlement. During the shareholders’ meeting the circumstances of the matter and the improvements and changes that have been made are in the process of being implemented will be covered in detail.
A notice for the meeting will be announced in the coming days.
