Ramp up Reykjavík is an initiative introduced yesterday at Iðnó by President Guðni Th. Jóhannesson, Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir, Reykjavík Mayor Dagur B. Eggertsson, and project originator Haraldur Þorleifsson.
The aim of the project is to increase disabled people’s access to services by installing 100 wheelchair ramps in Reykjavík by the year-end. Íslandsbanki is among the participants in the initiative, which is highly compatible with the Bank’s commitment to being a force for good in the community.
