Transfer

It is possible to transfer between banks, your own accounts and Top up cards in an app and in online bank. Here you will find instructions for transfers.

Transfer in app

1. Log in to the Íslandsbanki app
2. Select „Transfer“ bottom middle of the screen.
   a) Select a known recipient (a) from the list or choose who you want to transfer to.
   b) There are 3 options (b, c or d). Follow the instructions of the appropriate letter depending on the transfer you want to make.
3. (a) Known recipient from the list
   Select the known recipient
   Select an amount
   Select a withdrawal account
   Select Continue
   Select Transfer
4. (b) Select Top up card.
   Select the card that should be Toped up
   Select an amount
   Select a withdrawal account
   Select Continue
   Select Transfer
5. (c) Choose a transfer between your own accounts.
   Select a deposit account
   Select an amount
   Select a withdrawal account
   Select Continue
   Select Transfer
6. (d) Select a new recipient.
   Add ID number (kennitala)
   Select a deposit account
   Select Continue
   Select an amount
   Select a withdrawal account
   Select Continue
   Select Transfer

Transfer to online bank

1. Open "Payments"
2. Click on "Transfer"
3. Select " Withdrawal account "
4. Determines "Amount withdrawal"
5. Selects "Recipient" or enters the account number and social security number (SSN)
6. Click "Continue"
7. Click on "Pay"
